40 YEARS OF BUILDING TRUST

1980s

The company was founded in 1974 by Mr Lim Hoo Wee. It was eventually incorporated in 1983 as Tong Hai Yang Construction Pte Ltd.


In 1985, Tong Hai Yang was assigned by the Japanese Association Singapore to the construction of a Japanese Temple Building at Chuan Hoe Avenue. A testament to the quality for which Tong Hai Yang is trusted, the building still stands strongly today in the Japanese Cemetery Park.

1990s

Contributing to the local property development in the 1990s, several landed housing development projects were completed, including good class bungalows and a row of five units of terraces.


The company also placed emphasis on interior projects for business startups as well as MNC clients, ranging across various industries, who had begun to establish a base in Singapore.

2000s

In mid-2000s, Tong Hai Yang identified a potential in local property demand. As one of the pioneers, Tong Hai Yang ventured into and began extensive work on showflat developments, becoming a leader in this industry today.


A number of shopping mall A&A and interior projects were also completed, demonstrating the class work for which the company is now known.
